Fire Update 6/29 (Sun Morning 11:00 am) -- Last update from the festival grounds. The main stage is just starting with Pieta Brown and Bo Ramsey, there is sun and blue skies overhead with a projected high of 86 degrees. The NOAA has taken the areas of concern out of their forecast and the helicopters and planes have returned to the sky to work on fighting the fires.

There are many smiling faces floating around the festival grounds, not only from the apparent change of fortune in the weather, but the inspired 2 hour pull out all stops, blow the smoke outta here set last night by Los Lobos.

Lots of music still to go, we hope you can come on by and join us in the fun. Thanks for all of your good thoughts, patience and support.

The Cumulus office is shut down so any phone inquiries at this time can be directed to the Sebastopol Community Center at 707-823-1511. Keep thinking good thoughts...we all appreciate it. See you there.

This year we will be adding a spot toward the south end of Meadowlands (car camping area) called "Black Oak Organic Jam". This will be an area that will be set up for those folks that would like to have a place you can meet with others to have an organic acoustic music jam closer to where you might be camping.

*This year, just like last year, plastic tarps will no longer be allowed in the Main Music Meadow, due to the problem of killing off the grass. We will, however, allow blankets. Also, one person may now reserve up to 4 chair spaces only.

*This year we will no longer allow early arriving campers to save spaces with their vehicles for late arrivals. To secure places for later arriving friends, especially in the Riverside camping area, early arrivals can pitch their friends tents or secure with extra gear. Space reservation, other than pitching of tents will be monitored and restricted. This is being done for the benefit of the community of attendees as a whole.
