"I love the Kate Wolf Festival because it's so laid back and hip with real 'from the heart' music in a beautiful natural setting…it reminds me of the good ol' days. Hey! These ARE the good ol' days when you're at The Kate Wolf Festival. Can't wait"—Charlie Musselwhite. In June of 1996, the Kate Wolf Retrospective Concert was held to celebrate the music of Kate Wolf. Her friends, family, and a sold-out crowd had such a wonderful time that they decided to make it an annual event.
The Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival started as a one day, one time event. Now in its 15th year, the festival has grown to a three day, three night, camping event at beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, 3 hours north of San Francisco. This will be the 10th year at Black Oak Ranch for the Festival.
